This heritage property is located 5 kilometers from the city of Jodhpur, on the Mandore Road, overlooking the beautiful and clear Balsamand Lake. Built in red sandstone and employing the typical ornate Rajput architectural style, the palace was initially built as the summer residence of the Maharajas of Jodhpur.
Looking back into the history, the lake was artificially created in the 13th century as a water reservoir that supplied drinking water to the city but now, the palace has been transformed into a luxury hotel with all modern amenities though it does not take away the old charm of the property.
The magnificent property is set in a private estate of over 60 acres of sprawling orchards of lime and pomegranate and landscaped gardens with elegant waterways that adds more beauty the place.
