The history of the Royal Hotel in Nainital goes back to the British Era in India. Started by the Colonel George Edward Bridge in 1906, this hotel was used by the royals of India, as well as offices and nobles of the British Empire, who came seeking peace and serenity at the lovely hill-station of Nainital.
