Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary is a popular wildlife sanctuary among tourists visiting Assam. This wildlife sanctuary is spread across three blocks located in Tinsukia district of Upper Assam. Visitors are treated with the diverse flora and fauna. Slow Loris, Assamese Macaque, Pig tailed Macaque, Rhesus Macaque, Capped Langur, Hoolock Gibbon and Leopards are some of the animals that inhabit this wildlife sanctuary
The wildlife sanctuary is also home to many species of birds some of which are found nowhere else in the country. The species of birds seen here include Osprey, Kingfisher, Indian Pied Hornbill, Lineated Barbet, Woodpecker, Drongo, Common Mynah, Bulbul, Magpie Robin, Wagtail and varieties of woodland birds.
Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary wildlife sanctuary is 40 kilometres drive from Mohanbari (Dibrugarh) Airport. It is easily accessible by road from Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts. The best time to visit this place would be between October and April.
